• Why Join Lume?

    • Selling made easy. We leveraged our extensive supply chain experience and designed Lume to be the surplus selling platform that we ourselves would want to use. Our Quick List tool is a prime example of this, enabling items to be listed in seconds. Additionally, you can also send us a spreadsheet in any format, and we'll work with you to get your items listed.
    • No sales calls. Ever. You know what you need and the best way to source it. We'll stay out of your way — but if you ever have a question, we're here for you!
    • Recover costs on emergency supply. When emergency preparations force you to buy a full box when you only need 1 or 2 each, sell the extras on Lume.
    • Buy what you use at a discount. Source the supplies your facility needs from other hospitals' surplus, at a fraction of the cost.
    • Ship carbon neutral, at no added cost. Every order ships with high-quality carbon credits purchased through trusted providers — included automatically, on our dime.
  • How it Works

Lume is the selling community for hospitals, ASCs, clinics, urgent cares, and physician offices. While select distributors may sell on Lume, we believe the value our marketplace creates should stay within the organizations that deliver patient care—which is why only licensed healthcare facilities can buy -and- sell on Lume.

Selling on Lume is simple and intuitive. When your item sells, we email you the packing slip and shipping label—just pack it up and place it with your outgoing UPS.

And with a low service fee of 15%, you are able to maximize your recovered expenses.

  • Who We Are.

We are supply chain professionals, determined to find a better way.

We've seen firsthand how the lack of a central marketplace leads to waste — perfectly good medical devices left to expire, budgets strained, and value left on the table simply because hospitals had no easy way to transact.

We believe that our health and our environment are intertwined, and that the systems supporting patient care don't have to come at the planet's expense.

Our purpose is simple: connect hospitals in new ways to reduce environmental and financial waste.
